I am sending every judo
coach in Great Britain a free copy of the Summer Edition
of the Koka Kids Junior Judo magazine. Please look out for you
copy coming through the post next month.
I am trying to contact every single judo club to gauge interest
for the magazine, and would be most grateful if coaches could
answer these few questions about the magazine by emailing me at
Kokakidsphotos@gmail.com
with your answers to the following...
Could you
see the Koka Kids Junior Judo magazine being of use at your club?
How many
juniors (u12's) do you have?
Would you like more information?
If so, please email back with your telephone number or preferred
email address.
More about Koka
Kids
Each edition aims to educate, inspire and motivate. Content includes
technique tips, from very simple step by step guides for the younger
to top level instruction (like the Neil Adam's spin entry to tai-otoshi)
for the more advanced judoka. There is also a lot of fun stuff,
interactive puzzles, pull out posters, games and prizes for the
judoka to win. At some point, every young judoka becomes inspired
to continue (we hope) to one day perhaps getting their black belt
or even becoming a champion - and so Koka Kids also contains role
models, with a look at the great stars of our sport. Above all,
Koka Kids aims to spark an interest for judo.
To directly help the coach, Koka Kids also supplies clubs with
free resources (Judo Class promotional posters, reward stickers,
Judoka of the Month certificates) to help clubs promote their
classes, gain more members and retain those you do have. In each
edition of Koka Kids, we have a Club Section where you may publish
a photo and short article - great to let your members know what
is coming up, or recognise achievements of your judoka.
If you are interested in learning more, or setting up a subscription
please get in touch,
Many thanks,

1992 Olympic Silver Medallist
1993 World and European Champion
