Fighting Films have launched Ippon of the Week, which will show the best British ippons from around the world and will be updated every Wednesday.

The ippons will be shown on the homepage of the FF website and will feature action from the latest international competitions.

“This will be a great way for the judo fan to regularly see British fighters in action at the top level”, said FF Managing Director Danny Hicks, “and it'll also give them an insight into our latest DVDs.”

Ippon of the Week will initially feature throws, holds and submissions from the 2007 World Judo Championships in Rio, Brazil.

The Ippons from the 2007 Worlds will continue up until the DVDs of the competition are released in the Spring.

After that Ippons will be shown from the 2008 European Championships, the GB World Cups, and numerous other international events.
