The British team has today
departed for the 2007 European Championships, which will take
place in Belgrade, Serbia from the 6-8 th April.
Action on day one (Friday
6 th April) will include JR Badrick in the –66kg weight category,
Sophie Johnstone at –52kg, and former European Champion Georgia
Singleton in the –57kg weight category. World and European Champion
Craig Fallon is not fully fit following a shoulder operation,
and is replaced by James Millar in the –60kg weight category.
Simone Callender has replaced Karina
Bryant who also recently underwent a shoulder operation.
Reigning European Champion Sarah Clark
goes into action on day two (Saturday 7th April).
Eurosport will broadcast
the event at the following times:
Friday April 6th – European
Judo Championships Day 1 - 4pm - 5.30pm
Saturday April 7th –
Live European Judo Championships Day 2 - 3pm – 4pm & 5.30pm
– 6pm
Sunday April 8th – Live
European Judo Championships Day 3 - 4.30pm – 5.15pm
