The Board of Directors have announced that the D band competition has been removed from the British Championships.  

This is with immediate effect and therefore the 2010 British Championships will only include competitors from B band (born 1997 & 1998) and C band (born 1995 & 1996).

The decision was made as it is felt that the event days had become too long for players, officials and volunteers over the past few years.

The Association is provisionally looking at holding a separate D band tournament from 2011.

Entry to the Championships remains as Area Trials.
