Training Camp following Senior British Trials - Building the system for 2012

To ensure the preparation in the next Olympic cycle starts immediately and to focus on the work required in the next 18 months, a 6-day Training Camp has been organised at EIS Sheffield from Sunday 2nd November - Friday 7th November 2008.

This Training Camp will be for ALL of the 2009 GB Senior Squad - the top 4 players, who gain a place at the Senior British Trials on Saturday 1st November. It will also be used as a preperation camp for the u23 European Championship Team. In addition I will observe all players during the Trials to identify any further appropriate invites for the Training Camp.  The Training Camp is the first of two Camps we intend to stage before Christmas, to evaluate SENIOR players ahead of the application and selection process to the BJA World Class Programme in December. This evaluation will also inform the selection for events in 2009.

Therefore please ensure you make the necessary arrangements ahead of the Senior British Trials, to be able to stay on for the Training Camp at EIS Sheffield.  Further details will be provided shortly and every entrant will receive a letter in the forthcoming weeks detailing the requirements for the Training Camp.
