The competition this year will be divided into the following groups:
Group 1: Men’s Novice Individuals (White, Red and Yellow belts)
Group 2: Women’s Intermediate Individuals (Green belt and below)
Group 3: Women’s Advanced Individuals (Blue belt and above)
Group 4: Men’s Intermediate Team (Orange, Green and Blue belts)
Group 5: Men’s Advanced Team (Brown belt and above)
The University of Warwick Judo Club Invitational Competition has grown to become a permanent fixture on the university Judo calendar. Owing to its success in the past, this year’s event promises to be no different, with a team event followed by an individual one. With novice and senior levels of competition, the event provides a great opportunity to all Judoka and is the ideal warm-up in the run up to the popular USIST and BUCS competitions. The event will be followed by a social at nearby Leamington Spa. Accommodation will be provided. |

Adult Beginners Course - Fleming Park Judo Club |

The course is going to run on 6 consecutive Thursday evenings from 8:30pm to 9:30pm at The Hilt, Hiltingbury Road, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. The cost of the 6 lessons will be £15 per person. Participants will also need to purchase a BJA licence and, if they require one, a Judo Gi. Both of which can be purchased through the club at discounted rates.

Coaches will have opportunities to participate in the sessions, reflect upon the content and practice observed and also question the tutors for understanding.
