Over
the last few months the BJA has consulted with female members
to assess their perceived needs and opinions in terms of the judo
experience. It has been crucial process in which a profile of
their training habits has also been created. Information
will be used to enhance the judo experience for current and future
female members, with an ultimate aim of improving participation
levels by 50% over the next four years.
Many
people have been involved in this process, without a team effort
it would have been difficult to achieve. Thank you to the Women’s
Sport Fitness Foundation, BJA Technical Officers, BJA Communications
Assistant (Nicola Turner), and all female members who took
the time to complete the questionnaire or attend the women and
only girls sessions.
