Launch of Team GB Beijing 2008 Website marks 100 days to go to the Olympic Games

In 100 days some 300 Team GB athletes will be walking in to the Opening Ceremony of the XXIXth Olympiad. You can follow Britain’s finest athletes on their journey to the greatest sporting event, the Olympic Games, through our new website: www.teamgb.com

Over the next few months our ‘Brits to Watch’ out for at the Games will be recording personal video diaries, on camcorders provided by Worldwide Olympic Partner Panasonic, giving you a unique insight into their personal journeys on the road to Beijing.

You can already log on to www.teamgb.com and view Team GB’s selection of diaries, videos and podcasts; see what it was like to carry the Olympic Torch from Olympic silver medallist Leon Taylor and enjoy the Team GB’s synchronised swimming duet’s hilarious underwater video diaries. Play your part and inspire our athletes to glory in China by sending a message of support to Team GB and you will automatically enter the competition to win a dream ticket to experience the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games yourself.
