It certainly has been a fabulous February for Rainham Judo Club as they were drawn as the Trust raffle winners by James Sills, BJA Events and PR Officer. The draw took place on Tuesday 18th March.

Wendy Malkinson of Rainham Judo Club said, “Medway Park and Rainham Judo Club's are very pleased to have won this month's raffle.  The money will be invested in enhancing our community programme of events and promotions”. 

The Trust raffle money has given the clubs the opportunity to fund promotional material such as demonstration literature, banners and merchandise. The clubs will also put the money towards the small prizes they give to school children at taster sessions and demonstrations and to players in their reward scheme.

Wendy Malkinson also said, “I would encourage all Clubs to commit to the raffle, as the Trust funds many different judo related projects and it needs our support - your Club could also win £1000 like we did”.
