2011 European bronze medallist and Olympic Squad member Colin Oates, 28, will be a guest on BBC's The One Show on Friday 27 January at 19:00. 

The in-form Oates, from North Lopham, Norwich, captured gold at the 2012 British Closed Championships on Sunday and is the British number one at -66kg.

The standout judoka, who finished a career-best fifth-place at the 2011 Worlds, will be part of a seven-strong team competing at the Paris Grand Slam next week and you can follow his road to the London 2012 Olympic Games on twitter at @kumo49
