The 2011/12, British Championships
for 10 and 11 year olds, National Veterans Championships and National
Kata Championships were offered to all BJA Area’s and Home Countries
as an opportunity to bid to host such events in the 2011/12 financial
year.
The bidding and selection
process has now been completed and the following Area’s / Home
Country have confirmed the following dates to host events:
- Midlands Area will host the National Veterans Championships
at the Walsall Judo Centre on the 17 July 2011.
- North West Area will host the National Kata Championships
at Kendal Judo Club on the 18 September 2011.
No Area expressed
an interest to host the British Championships for 10 and 11 year
olds so if your Area and/or Club would be interested in hosting
this event this financial year, please contact the BJA Events
Team on events@britishjudo.org.uk
or 01509 631695 to discuss.
Finally, information on
how to bid for 2012/13 BJA National events will be circulated
to all Area Chair and Secretaries towards the end of 2011.
