British youngsters excel at Lithuanian Junior European Cup

A number of young British judoka made an additional trip to their junior British team schedule on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May as they took part in the Lithuanian Junior European Cup in Kaunas.

The self-organised trip saw nine Brit’s compete and produce an impressive three-medal haul.

Amy Livesey of SKK won two contests and narrowly lost out in the -70kg final to take silver, improving on her bronze in Portugal.

In the same category Samurai's Sarah Biles won three fights and lost one to clinch a bronze medal.

Hardy Spicer's Chloe Jones lost the -52kg bronze medal contest to finish in fifth-place, having placed seventh in Portugal.

Aaron Harrison, Lucas Rowe, Curtis Dodge, Jemima Duxberry and Demi Brooks were also in action.
