With the Trust now offering
a direct debit scheme to enter the £1000 raffle, it has never
been easier to give your club the chance of winning £1000 every
month.
Januarys draw took place
on Monday 16th February by Renault and the lucky winning club
is Thomas Deacon judo club, located in Cambridgeshire.
John Deardon from the winning
club was delighted and said that “it couldn’t have come at a better
time."
“The money will be used
to pay the club’s rent for the year. With the rent balanced, we
can now think about putting some money towards buying DVD’s as
teaching aids. Winning the raffle will give our club time to address
fees for students, which will build up to pay next year’s rent.”
The Thomas Deacon club
offer students lessons at a peppercorn rate. After the School
became an academy, the Judo club had to pay rental fees. What
was a weight on John’s mind is now covered with the winnings from
the Trust raffle.

The winning clubs so far
are Rothwell, Wolverhampton and now Thomas Deacon. Watch this
