The British squad picked up three medals at the 2006 German Open on the 2nd -3rd September.

A gold was won by Euan Burton in the –81kg category, Simone Callender won a silver in the +78kg weight category and Craig Fallon finished with bronze, fighting in the –66kg weight category.

There were a total of 27 countries participating in the tournament, including France, Russia and Estonia. The British squad also finished 5 th place in the medals table.
