Ford Judo Club has cancelled their age band tournament which was due to take place on April 18th in Dagenham.

“It’s with great sadness that we will have to cancel the 2010 Ford age band tournament,” said club official Elizabeth Kavanagh.

“We’ve arranged with the sports centre to transfer the booking to July. We hope to re-run the tournament, with a focus on beginners in the younger age groups.

“We’re considering running the younger U12 age bands in pools of 4/5 so they can all receive a medal. Hopefully this will encourage some of the younger competitors and novices.”
