Excel Manager
Salary
in the region of £30-35k
The British Judo Association
(BJA) is seeking candidates for the position of England Excel
Manager to lead the England Excel Programme. The position
will be based out of the BJA office at the English Institute of
Sport, Sheffield and will involve regular travel within the England
Network.
The England Excel Manager
will:
- Lead the England Excel Programme, manage England Excel staff
and work closely with the BJA Performance Directorate to develop
and prepare players for entry to the GB Programmes
- Be responsible for the implementation of the Performance Cell
strategy, to assist in developing a progressive Home Country
Talent Identification Development Player Pathway, bringing together
club coaches and talented players to develop and maximise potential
- Oversee the core England Excel Programme and ensure this activity
is integrated with the work undertaken in the Performance Cells
The successful candidate
will ideally be educated to degree standard, have a sound understanding
of the England club coach network and have experience in developing
athlete pathways. Excellent organisational, influencing and communications
skills are essential, as well as being willing to work flexible
hours.
