Densign White has been
elected to the British Olympic Association’s (BOA’s) Executive
Board. The BJA Chairman is one of six members of the National
Olympic Committee (NOC) to be elected this week, and they will
now represent the National Governing Bodies of Olympic Sports
on the BOA’s Executive Board for the next two years.
The six NOC members elected
to the BOA Executive Board are:
- Brian Cookson (British
Cycling Federation)
- David Cranston CBE (British Biathlon Union)
- Di Ellis CBE (Amateur Rowing Association)
- Lynne Evans MBE (Grand National Archery Society)
- Richard Leman (Great Britain Hockey Limited)
- Densign White (British Judo Association).
The five other individuals
were re-elected, with Densign being elected for the first time.
The full membership of
the BOA Executive Board is: Lord Colin Moynihan, David Hemery
CBE, Albert Woods, H.R.H. The Princess Royal, Craig Reedie CBE,
Sir Philip Craven MBE, Dame Mary Glen Haig DBE, Karen Pickering,
Brian Cookson, David Cranston CBE, Di Ellis CBE, Lynne Evans MBE,
Richard Leman and Densign White.
