The Chinese and Brazilian
Judo Federations have confirmed that they will both send significant
teams to the 2010 GB World Cup for women, which will take place
on the 2nd & 3rd October at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
Although both have sent
teams to previous GB World Cups this will be the first occasion
that these judo nations have appeared at the same time. This significant
coup for the event demonstrates the fantastic relationship that
has built between the British Judo Performance team and the two
countries. It will also be a rare opportunity for spectators to
see both these teams together on British soil prior to London
2012.
Tickets for event, which
is part of the International Judo Federation’s World circuit,
are now on sale from The Ticket Factory on 0844 3388000 (Lines
are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) .
On Saturday 2nd the
-48kg, -52kg, -57kg, and -63kg categories will compete on the
Saturday with the -70kg, -78kg and +78kg categories rounding up
this spectacular event on Sunday.
Tickets are £14 per
adult per day and £6 per child/senior citizen per day. All tickets
will be sold on a reserved seat basis so the earlier you book,
the better seats you will have!
