The top eight players
from the BJA 2010 Ranking list qualify to compete in the
2011 British Trials. These individuals will be written to
immediately after the Scottish Open (23/24 October) advising
them that they have qualified a place at this event and
explaining how they need to confirm their entry via the
online entry system.
Wild cards will be
issued by the BJA Performance Directorate for players that
have been in International Representation through the year.
They will also be issued on consideration of players who
have not qualified through injury, yet are assessed by the
BJA Performance Directorate to be worthy of a Wild Card
entry.
‘Wild Card’ applications
for injured players should be emailed to: Karen Roberts
at karen.roberts@britishjudo.org.uk
by Monday 1st November 2010.
Players will be informed in writing by Monday 8th November
2010 the outcome of their Wild card application. If a player
is refused a ‘Wild Card’ they will be informed of the reason
in writing, however there is not an appeal process.
