Information
from both the IJF and EJU regarding the new regulations on back
patches required for all IJF and EJU events.
There
will be 2 parts:
PART 1: FIXED FOR
EVERY EVENT: Name and Country Code
Every
Athlete has to order his/her personal back number with name
and country through www.mybacknumber.com
Only
with this original identification is the athlete allowed to
compete in IJF and EJU events. Self prepared or copied identifications
are not allowed. In this case the judoka will be disqualified.
The
service for ordering starts on 1st November through: www.mybacknumber.com
The
order process is open for Federations, sportsmen and clubs.
It must not be done only through federation.
Think
about some reserve numbers in case of damage.
From
the 1st January 2010 every sportsman has to prepare his personal
identification at home. The judoka has to arrive for every competition
with prepared name and nation identification. If the judoka
arrives unprepared, they will not be allowed to compete.
PART 2: VARIABLE
FOR EVERY EVENT: Competition name/Advertising
Further
information will follow
Part 1 will
be the responsibility of the athlete, Part 2 will
be the responsibility of the BJA.
Any
queries should be directed to karen.roberts@britishjudo.org.uk
