In September 2008 the University
Of Wolverhampton (Walsall campus) in partnership with the British
Judo Association, Walsall College and SkillsActive are proud to
announce the launch of The Advanced Apprenticeship in
Sporting Excellence for Judo.
This 2 year course will
commence in September 2008 and the University are looking for
suitable candidates who want to study a BTEC National Diploma
in Sports Performance at Walsall College and NVQ Level 3 in Judo
at the Universities National Judo Academy . Upon completion these
qualifications are accepted by most Universities as access to
Sports degree courses.
This OPEN EVENING provides
potential participants, personal/club coaches and parents with
the opportunity to meet with representatives from the University
and Walsall College to find out more about the course and to answer
any questions you may have. A tour of the University judo facility
has been arranged and a minibus will be available to transport
participants to tour the college facilities.
