British Judo Events is delighted to announce that entry is now open for the 2010 British Schools National Individual Championships, which will take place on the 20th March 2010 at EIS Sheffield.

All entrants must be in full time education – Academic Years 7-13.  Closing date for entries is strictly 10th March 2010 (for Scotland and Ireland see table below).

Entry forms can now be completed online and can be submitted from schools, clubs or individuals. 

This event is not open to any players who are members of the England Squad programme or who have won a medal at the British Championships (BJA National Age Banded Championships) in the last three years.  For full event eligibility information please view the full entry form.

This event is open to all school children who comply with the criteria above. However, if the player is a member of an association other than the BJA, Judo Scotland, NIJF, WJA, AJA or BJC, players must send a copy of their association’s insurance policy to the BJA, Suite B, Loughborough Technology Centre, Epinal Way, Loughborough LE11 3GE. No entry can be accepted from such players without proof of insurance.

Players from Associations that do not have or cannot produce proof of insurance must purchase a BJA Schools Licence (£5), which must be purchased before the closing date for entries (Wednesday 10 th March 2010). For an Schools Licence application form please email events@britishjudo.org.uk.
