British Judo’s U20’s squad had a very successful weekend at the 2008 Junior Russian 'A' Tournament, which took place in St Petersburg, Russia on the 26 th & 27 th April 2008.

Four players, two men and two women came away with bronze medals, these being Jean-Rene Badrick

(-66kg), Luke Taylor (-90kg), Kelly Edwards (-48kg), and Ashley Fleming (+78kg). With three others, Theodore Spalding-McIntosh (+100kg), Ashley McKenzie (-60kg) and Kate Walker (-63kg) finishing in 7th places respectively. This provides a fantastic start to 2008 for the U20’s and a great platform for the squad to build upon for the rest of the year.
