As  competitor was a member of the Senior British Squad.

Nigel Donohue

Lead England Coach and

GB Performance Analysist

6th Dan

Double Olympian (92 & 96), 5th World Championships, European Champion.

Former Judo Scotland National Coach and Scottish Institute of Sport High Performance National Coach (1998 - 2005).

Nigel is employed to work across Performance Programs providing performance analysis and coaching support.

Jamie Johnson

England Squad Coach

Worked with the World Class Start squad for several years, bringing his considerable experience of High performance training, techniques and competition.

Support Coaches

The England Squad program benefits from the dedication and expertise of its many support coaches who regularly give up their time to help our young players. These support coaches consist of club coaches who are an integral part of delivering the programme.

Players have also been able to learn from the some of Great Britain's experienced International players, both past and present.

Sarah Clark - European Champion, Olympian.

Chloe Cowen - European medallist,Olympian.

Loretta Cussack - World and European Champion.

Julian Davies - European medallist and Olympian.

Craig Fallon -World and European Champion, Olympian.

Joyce Heron - World Bronze medallist, Olympian.

James Millar - World Cup Medallist.

 

Physiotherapists

Physiotherapists will attend many of the training sessions and travel with the team when they attend International camps, in order to advise our players on injury management, rehabitation and prevention.
