Telford prodigy Gemma Howell has been on the radar of the judo fraternity for close to a decade as she claimed a host of domestic u20 titles at just 16 years old. Howell has made incredible progress as she clinched bronze at both the Junior European Championships and Junior World Championships in 2008.

The Dartford-based judoka has gone on to win bronze at the u23 European Championships in 2008 and 2010 and, having made the permanant switch to the -63kg category in 2012, won four events in a row as two World Cup's and two European Cup's further decorated Howell's already impressive CV.
