This weekend (Friday 6 to Sunday 8 October) sees the IJF World Tour move onto Tashkent in Uzbekistan for the penultimate Grand Prix of 2017.

Kelly Staddon (-48kg) and Sarah Adlington (+78kg) will be the two GB judoka stepping on the mat this weekend a week on from the Zagreb Grand Prix.

Adlington has had a solid year at +78kg with a bronze medal at the Cancun Grand Prix as well as a fifth at the Zagreb Grand Prix last year. The World No.28 goes in as second seed in Tashkent where she’ll face home judoka Nazokat Ibragimova (UZB).
