GB High Performance Programme
The British Judo Performance Directorate provides the direction of the performance strategy and the British team’s training and competition programme.
Launched in 2009, the British Judo Performance Institute (BJPI) is British Judo’s full-time centre of excellence and houses full-time athletes as well as the Performance Directorate, coaching team, sport science and medical staff.
JudoScotland’s National Training Centre in Ratho, Edinburgh, is a recognised British Judo Performance Centre.
There are now more than 60 athletes based out of the two centres.
British Judo’s High Performance Programme is supported by the English Institute of Sport (EIS), Scotland Institute of Sport (SIS) and Maximuscle.
