Since 2001 funding to BJA Clubs and Areas through this Sports Lottery Fund scheme has passed the mile stone figure of three quarters of a million pounds. In total the number of successful Awards for All applications for Judo in England now stands at 192

Total funding to grass roots Judo from the scheme now stands at an amazing: -

£772,774.00

Successful applicants have received funding for a diverse range of projects, for example simple mat purchases, specialised tapered safety landing zones, advertisement / promotional literature, training and Coach Education costs.

2003/4 applications alone totalled:        £150,857.00
