respect that judo encourages are great attributes."

Police Sergeant Stuart Hatton and Rising Sun head coach
David Wright
Rising Sun Judo Club head
coach Dave Wright said: “We were delighted to receive a cheque
for £250 from the Police Property Fund, and would like to thank
them for this kind donation and Steve Eldridge for his work in
this.
“Judo mats are expensive
items, as they must be sealed for hygiene purposes, have a non-slip
surface underneath and still be able to withstand the weight of
a human body being thrown with force.
“We have been saving for
new mats so we can continue to provide what is probably the best
all round self defence system for children as well as adults and
so this donation is a most welcome boost to our efforts.
