Former World Champion heading to Zodiac Judo Club

Former World and European Champion, Craig Fallon, will showcase the skills that saw him eclipse judo’s finest fighters when he takes a masterclass at Zodiac Judo Club in Hastings on 10 July.

The club, who were established in the 1960’s, is currently among Britain’s most successful outfits, boasting eight county champions, four Southern Area champions and one national champion.

Fallon, 27, become the only male competitor to emulate the famed exploits of his countryman and Britain’s most famous judoka, Neil Adams, when he captured the World and European titles in 2006.

The former 60kg star, who’s taken a sabbatical from the sport since competing at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, will be joined by the club’s highly-regarded senior coach, Duncan Maclean and his colleagues Stuart Maclean and Aaron Church, all of whom are 2 nd Dan’s.

Duncan Maclean, 40, is relishing seeing Fallon at the club.

Juniors graded 9 th mon and below will train between 10:00 - 11:00 while juniors graded 10 th mon and above will join seniors at 12.30 – 14:00.

Places on the class will be much sought-after and those interested are encouraged to book early by contacting Duncan Maclean on 07851 6902975.

Zodiac Judo Club train at Silverdale School, St. Leonards, Hastings, East Sussex, TN37 7EA. Boys and girls train on a Thursday at 19:30 - 20:45 while men and women train on Tuesday at 19:30 – 21:00.
