Over the weekend of 22nd
and 23rd October 2011, nine players from Bedminster Judokwai,
Bristol Judo and Patchway Judo club travelled to Dublin to take
part in 2011 Irish Open.
Following their success
trip to the Irish capital in 201 another successful weekend was
had with the three clubs from Bristol joining forces to create
a memorable atmosphere as they dominated the medal rostrum.
The squad came back
with four gold medals, four silver and four bronzes along with
a host of fifth-place finishes.

Gold: Henry Geary, u60
juniors; Reece Peacock, u66 cadets Kieran Peacock, u73 cadets
and Tom Finerty, u60 seniors.
Silver: Charlie Geary,
u45 cadets & juniors; Ashley Mathias, u81 juniors and Sasha
Foxon, u48 cadets.
Bronze: Ashley Mathias,
u81 seniors; Tom Finerty, u60 juniors; Sasha Foxon, u48 juniors
and Kieran Peacock, u73 juniors.
