• Enjoy Judo is the British Judo Association’s Schools Development Programme, which provides school children with the opportunity be exposed to the Olympic sport of Judo and all its benefits.

• The scheme carries out judo demonstrations, organises taster sessions, and links schools with local British Judo clubs to encourage more youngsters to take up and continue the sport.

• A National Schools Development Manager oversees 4 Schools Development Officers who work across the country from bases in Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Bath and Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.

• Judo is an ideal sport to introduce to school children of any age, both boys and girls of varying sizes and abilities, whether they are new to physical exercise or want to improve general skills such as co-ordination, balance and physical movement.
