BJA Grading Certificate Scheme Sponsorship

Background Information

  • The BJA now processes and registers all grades centrally. Every time a player achieves a new grade, the BJA will send them a certificate displaying the grade to celebrate the achievement.
  • We estimate that around 50,000 certificates will be sent out each year, directly to our members at their home address.

Key Benefits

  • Develop a meaningful association with a key target market. Around two thirds of the certificate recipients will be aged under 16, enabling any partners on this scheme to reach this valuable market directly and on a regular basis.
  • The chance to promote a key message. The scheme offers the chance for a company to actively encourage youngsters to progress through the grading system, living healthy and physically active lifestyles in a disciplined and controlled manner.

  • Involvement with a scheme that aims to stimulate progress and development. The scheme aims to motivate members to strive to be the best they can be, and continually encourages them to improve and try and reach the next grade.

  • An opportunity to build an affinity with potential customers. The certificates will be highly valued by members, and will have a strong degree of permanence due to their meaning. Therefore, any logo’s / messages displayed on the certificates will have a constant presence.

Key Rights

  • Right to use the British Judo logo and an official designation such as ‘Official Sponsor of the BJA Grading Certificate Scheme’ on any marketing and promotional activity.

  • British Judo support to liaise with our 23,000 individual members and 800 Clubs.

  • Presence on the British Judo website in the Commercial section and appropriate areas relating to the certificate scheme.
